Capi kicks off Omnichannel strategy at Frankfurt Airport
Hoofddorp, 13 November 2018 – On the 9th of November, the leading airport retailer of consumer electronics, Capi, The Travellers Electronics Company, reopened its refurbished store at Frankfurt Airport. With the reopening of the store, Capi officially launched their very first Omnichannel store.
On the 9th of November, Capi celebrated the opening of her first Omnichannel store at Frankfurt Airport. As Capi’s first and foremost priority is to ensure a trendsetting and inspiring shopping experience, Omnichannel was the most logical next step. Staff warmly welcomed travellers to join in on the celebrations of the newly refurbished store, whilst enjoying a delicious white chocolate cake.
Capi and Frankfurt Airport have known a long and successful collaboration in airport retail. As a prominent airport, Frankfurt also took steps within their own Omnichannel strategy, strengthening the business relation furthermore. Capi offers the convenience to purchase items, which travellers cannot take on board the aircraft, and have it delivered at their doorstep. By introducing the Omnichannel concept, Capi has successfully realized a new segment in Travel Retail and thereby enhanced the travellers experience.
