Capi and Philips launch Dutch Masters edition of the Philips Shaver S9000
Hoofddorp, 25nd of October 2018 – Capi, Philips and the Rijksmuseum teamed up to create an exciting limited edition of the Philips Shaver S9000. The Dutch Masters edition is specially designed to surprise travellers with a high quality shaver that is truly ‘Made in Holland’.
Together with Philips, and the Rijksmuseum, a well-known Dutch national museum, released a special packaging of the Shaver S9000. The packaging is based on the world famous painting, The Night Watch, from Dutch Master Rembrandt, which makes it a true collector’s item. The special edition comes with a docking station, travel pouch, separate trimmer and multiple postcards with paintings from other Dutch Masters to keep as a memory or to share with loved ones.
The purpose of this collaboration is to offer travellers, Asian travellers in particular, a unique proposition with a strong Dutch local heritage, which contributes to Capi’s inspiring shopping experience at airports. The limited edition is manufactured in The Netherlands at Philips’ factory in Drachten, which makes it a true Made in Holland product. After the official launch at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, attended by delegates from Philips and Capi, the limited edition of the shaver was very well received by travellers. The limited edition shaver is now available at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and all other Capi stores.
