Capi Global offers tailor-made retail concept for airports, cruise and ferries

Hoofddorp, 19 April 2019 – Capi Global has further strengthened their retail concept, by improving the market specific approach for business to business partners. The shop concept is tailored to the specific buying behaviour of travellers at airports, cruise and ferries.

Capi Global offers tailor-made solutions to business partners active in these different markets. These solutions are based on the specific reasons and key drivers of the travellers. Compared to airport retail, cruise passengers have more time on their hands to visit the shops onboard and moreover, they visit the shopping area more often during the trip. Depending on the size and type of the available shop outlets, a customised shop-in-shop concept is chosen with wall and floor units. Varied products in the assortment and frequent adjustments, ensure to surprise the travellers with an inspiring shopping environment.

The latest successful launch of the shop-in-shop concept is in collaboration with leading Cruise Retail Specialists, Harding Retail. For over a year, Capi Global have been their electronics partner. Harding Retail operates onboard tax- and duty-free outlets on cruise ships globally and their portfolio consists of over 250 shops on 62 cruise ships.

The improved shop-in-shop onboard of the cruise ship Marella Explorer 2, is the first location where the new concept is fully implemented. The shop offers four of Capi’s award winning marketing concepts. The Gadget Table ensures that travellers can be entertained onboard and offers the perfect gift. The Special Offer bins appeal to the price-conscious customers looking for a good deal.

Products presented in the Travellers Choice wall respond to impulse buying of travellers. The touch and feel factor is enhanced in the manner the products are presented in the walls.
