The new terminal will have a capacity of 20 million passengers a year and the terminal building’s total area will be 580,000 m2. Furthermore, the total retail area will be 32,000 m2 of which 6,200 m2 will be dedicated to duty free and retail space, operated by Muscat Duty Free, Oman Sales & Services. Capi Global will be the dedicated partner for electronics at the airport.
