Capi and JBL kick of summer with inspiring airport campaign

Hoofddorp, 25 July 2019— Royal Capi-Lux (“Capi”), the airport retail brand of B&S Group, brings the summer in stores in collaboration with JBL, part of Harman International, by launching an exciting summer campaign including two innovative audio concepts: true wireless and noise cancellation.

Summer season has officially started and therefore, Capi has made its stores all summer proof. The annual JBL summer campaign was launched in most of the Capi electronic stores, to celebrate the summer together with travellers. The Action Marketing Table is transformed into a beach setting, to put travellers in their holiday mood. Capi created the ultimate summer party with beach balls, hammocks, a sign post and an aquarium. Moreover, customers are given a free beach ball set with their JBL purchase.

The campaign presents two product categories: waterproof Bluetooth speakers and wireless audio. The “Summer fun starts here” theme includes the colourful JBL Flip 4, Charge 4 and Clip 3 speakers. The JBL Live 650 wireless over-ear noise-cancelling headphones and the JBL Free true wireless earphones, were presented with the “Enjoy your summer in full freedom” theme. The different elements in this campaign confirm how Capi is responding to the touch and feel experience in an inspiring shopping environment. For example, the sign post navigates travellers to the best JBL summer products and they can connect their own phone to try out the speakers. Furthermore, promoters gave a live demonstration of the waterproof speakers by putting it into the aquarium to highlight the features of this summer must-have.

The strong partnership between JBL and Capi results in inspiring and award-winning campaigns. Last year, they won the DFNI award in the category Best Marketing Campaign for the “Ready for your pool party?” campaign. This collaboration returned this July with this ultimate summer party.

Travellers experienced the campaign as a true summer party with a fun and interactive instore experience, due to the different elements of the campaign. Moreover, the presented products matched perfectly with the passengers’ profile and time of the year. The moment travellers pass the security check, their holiday starts. In the Capi electronic stores, they can truly feel the summer and shop their electronic must-haves in an inspiring shopping environment.
