Suunto Power Week promotion at Capi Shops in Helsinki
Hoofddorp, November 5, Capi, market leader in electronics retail at airports, is promoting the Suunto watch range at its outlets in Vantaa Airport, Helsinki. The promotion focuses on the new Ambit line - the GPS watch for explorers - and will run for two weeks starting 7 November 2012.
This year, Suunto launched the Ambit, described on its website as the first ever GPS watch combining advanced training functions and specialized duty outdoor features. The Suunto Ambit, made in Finland, boasts a range of functions that will excite any serious explorer. It not only tells time, but can be used to monitor altitude, location, speed, heart rate and weather conditions. The outdoor and training functions include GPS with waypoint and route navigation, a unique 3D compass, barometric altitude, temperature, global and local GPS grids, and advanced heart rate monitoring with Peak Training Effect. Peak Training Effect and recovery time indicator analyse the impact of a training session and are relative to the current fitness level. The watch comes in black or silver and has a robust casing made of composite material with a shock and scratch resistant aluminium case. Ambit is water-resistant to a depth of 100m. The Ambit package consists of a variety of accessories such as a black or silver strap, usb- power cable, and optional heart rate belt in the HR version.
The Suunto Power Week promotion is a joint effort between Suunto and Capi. Capi personnel have received specialized product training and will be wearing themed Suunto and Capi branded outfits during the two weeks of the promotion. The Ambit will also feature on big screens around Vantaa airport. During the promotion weeks Suunto products will be on offer with reduced pricing. The Suunto Ambit watch compliments Capi’s assortment well.
