Why I like to work at Capi in Amsterdam?

I am currently working for Capi for the second time and during my time here I have had various positions. Meanwhile, I have celebrated a 12,5 anniversary at Capi now, twice! I used to work in the records/cd department at the Capi shops in Amsterdam, when Capi still had shops down town.

During that time I played in the band ‘King Bee’ which was very successful, even internationally. Capi gave me opportunity to enjoy this exciting part of my life. People used to come to the shops to see if it was really me! In this job, I deal with so many different kinds of people that it never becomes boring. That is why is still enjoy working here.

I have been working for Capi for over a year now. My colleagues and the international work environment make Capi a great place to work. Also, learning something new every day allows me to improve quickly. My responsibilities are growing and that makes each day interesting.

Why I like to work at Capi in Amsterdam?

I joined Capi in 2000 as a salesperson at our shops. In 2004 I got some administrative tasks in my responsibility area. Today I still have the administrative role as part of my job description even though I spend most of my days on the shop floor. Today I am working as a shop manager responsible for two of our Helsinki shops. I truly enjoy my work. Every day at the airport is a different. Selling the latest technology and hottest gadgets keeps you very alert in order to be able to give the best service with competent product knowledge to our customers – this is fun and you have to continue learning all the time. And serving customers from various parts of the world makes this job really international. I also enjoy working in shifts as this gives me good options in balancing my free time with my interests. And finally, maybe the best part of my job is my colleagues – some of them I have already known for over ten years now!

Why I like to work at Capi in Amsterdam?

As member of the 'Customer Service' department it is my job to offer people service. That is what I like to do and at Capi we are proud that we are able to offer service. We understand that customers are people and not just a client with a number. “I use to be a sales representative at one of the stores at Schiphol Amsterdam Airport. Now I work in this department, it is different yet the team is great too and I can use my own experience at the counter to offer people the same level of support they are used at Capi, but now over the phone.” “Capi is clearly a company where they appreciate people. When I turned 50 I was surprised to receive a breakfast fro two in the early morning at home. We care for each other, we care for our clients.”
