Capi's portfolio includes a wide range of electronics that have been selected especially for the discerning traveller. We partner with airports and other airport retailers to offer consumers the best selection of electronics available today at prices that are unmatched elsewhere in Europe.
Capi is a pioneer in airport retailing. We are one of the first three companies to join the Amsterdam Airport Shopping Center founded in co-operation with Schiphol Airport in 1957.
Capi is part of Royal Capi-Lux, an international Dutch organisation and a leader in photography and imaging for over a century. In 2010 Royal Capi-Lux had a total of 90+ million euro in revenues and employed more than 230 people. Capi has 55 years of experience in airport retailing, both airside and landside, and enjoys more than 18 million visitors in its stores every year.
Apart from Schiphol Amsterdam Airport ( The Netherlands), Capi has shops at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (Finland), Oslo Gardermoen Airport (Norway), Johannesburg International Airport (South Africa), Cape Town International Airport (South Africa), Frankfurt Airport (Germany), and Munich Airport International (Germany). In June 2012, the company will open its first shop at Berlin Airport. In addition to its airport locations, Capi handles a soft franchise formula and offers a wide range of electronics especially aimed at travellers for other airport retailers.
Passengers leaving the Netherlands can visit Capi and purchase tax free photographic and video equipment, audio equipment, computers, navigation equipment, personal care goods, telecommunications equipment, travel accessories, CDs, DVDs, games (hardware and software), nautical and medical instruments. Stores are open seven days a week, from one hour before the first departure until the last plane takes off.
Uniquely, Capi offers a worldwide, two-year guarantee on all products purchased at one of its stores. In case of product malfunction, Capi's Customer Service department will assist with repairs or product replacement.
